Lisa Nail is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Certified Telehealth Practitioner. She has a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University, and graduated with honors and distinction. While obtaining her Master’s Degree, Lisa interned at A Woman’s Place Ministries (AWPM), which is a Crisis Pregnancy Center in Tampa, FL. During her time at AWPM, she counseled women and teenagers, life coached, and led educational support groups. Before obtaining her Master’s Degree, Lisa received her B.S. from Florida Southern College and double majored in Psychology and Sociology. She is a member of Psi Chi.
Lisa has a deep desire to help people overcome obstacles, hardships, relationship issues, and times of crisis in their lives. She feels that God has called her into counseling, and wants to help people by showing them compassion, understanding and encouragement during tough times. She believes that by helping people build skills, listening to them, and giving them hope, people can see positive changes in their lives, live healthier lives, develop healthier self-images, and have better relationships with others.
Specialty areas include but are not limited to; grief counseling, anxiety and depression, childhood trauma (past or present), parenting issues and skills, boundaries issues, infertility, relationship issues, pre-marriage, Christian counseling, and spiritual growth. Lisa counsels children and adults. She believes that all people can benefit from counseling and can find hope and a better future.
